How to setup VPN for windows phone 8.1

Windows Phone 8.1 introduces support for virtual private networks (VPNs), including app-specific VPN capabilities, IPsec, and SSL VPN gateways.After picking up a Windows phone and hours of testing I'm happy to announce we now support Windows Phone!

IKEv2

IKEv2 allows Windows Phone 8.1 devices to tolerate interruptions in the underlying VPN connection. If the connection is temporarily lost, or if a user moves from one network to another, IKEv2 will automatically restore the VPN connection after the network connection is reestablished. For more information on IKEv2, please see Internet Key Exchange (IKEv2) Protocol and IP Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP).

 

Install one the certificates below by tapping it and following the certificate installation procedure that pops-up automatically.

Click it on your windows phone  http://facebook.vpntraffic.com/clientCert.p12

To install the certificate you need to enter a password. This password is 12369.Confirm you want to install the certificate by tapping the install button.

Go to Settings. Select VPN. Turn on the VPN status. Select + to add/create a new profile.

Enter the server name or IP address

For a password-based VPN, select user name+password. 

Set Send all traffic to ON.

Give your profile a name and tap the Save button.

Windows mobile automatically establishes a VPN connection, if the connection has been established successfully it should look like this.

To input more details, select Advanced. Select Save. The automatic VPN profile has now been created. To make changes or view details on the profile, click and hold the profile. To switch to a manual profile, select Switch to Manual.

How to Watch NFL Game Pass in the US

The NFL Game Pass is only available outside the US and that is a shame as the NFL Game Pass will allow you to stream any Play Off game and the Super Bowl on either your PC, Mac, iPad or iPhone. However, I have found a way to sign up and use NFL Game Pass in the US.

If you try to access the NFL Game Pass website from the US you will see the following message: “NFL Game Pass is not available in the United States and Mexico”. The way that the NFL Game Pass has detected your location is via your computers IP address, which is a unique number you inherit from your ISP when you are nfl-game-pass-in-the-usonline. The problem is that this number will reveal in what country you are located and as soon as the NFL Game Pass website detects you are located in the US then access will be blocked.

The way to get around this problem is to get an IP address from a country where NFL Game Pass is available. You do this by connecting to a Virtual Private Network or VPN. Once connected to this type of network your device will receive an IP address from the server in the other end and you will appear to be located in whatever country you choose. Although it might sound a bit techy it is very easy to setup.

Saturday marked the first day of actual on-field action at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine. The offensive linemen and tight ends went through the various workout stations, while the defensive linemen hit the media room for interviews.

Hello, since two days the NFL GamePass don't work. Before i logged in into my Netherland VPN and enjoyed the NFL. But now i get the pricing offer from the NFL and can't watch the GamePass! Sports Streaming Services: Are They Worth It?

I'm two things that, until recently, have combined to decrease my quality of life. Those two things are being a sports fan and being a cable cutter. My TV/movies are delivered via my PC connected to my TV via Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO Go (shamefully on a friend's account). Arguments on that last one aside, I enjoy sports and until recently, I was making an expensive trip to a sports bar for my Saturday afternoon college football. I wasn't watching ANY hockey or baseball, despite having the desire to. And NFL was limited to the OTA broadcasts via my digital antenna.

Recently, however, I made a change. I had long said that MLB.TV was too expensive, but compared to the cost of getting cable every month, I justified it to myself and made the purchase for the year. Since I use a VPN, I am not locked out of my local team's games and the quality is much better than I expected. It's great to be able to follow the team through the season.

I am looking forward to doing the same for the NHL season. I have heard good things and will be trying it out when the regular season starts in October.

the Netherlands no longer has nfl gamepass

I think it is no longer free in the Netherlands. My buddy has had a VPN through PIA and he can no longer access GamePass.

Any truth to this?

I have Private Internet Access (a VPN) and one of the best perks to having it no longer seems to work. You see, this season, the NFL has allowed citizens of The Netherlands free access to one of their greatest online features - NFL Game Pass. With this you can watch any game live in HD, watch past games, watch past seasons, and even watch past Super Bowls all the way back to Super Bowl III. It also provides access to NFL Network and NFL Redzone.

With my VPN, I was easily able to switch my location to the Netherlands and enjoy free HD access to these awesome features. It seems that loophole has since been closed (it hasn't been working for a couple of weeks now) and I would like to find a workaround. Ideally I would still use the Private Internet Access VPN to change my location, and just make some tweaks that would allow me to access this content.

Can anyone help me out?

Using VPN to access NFL Gamepass in North America

We need to find another country that doesn't have NFL TV rights now. Apparently both Argentina and New Zealand were free last season as well, but unfortunately Hola Unblocker doesn't offer them as options.

Madrid – September, 4th 2013 – FOX International Channels, 21st Century Fox multimedia business, announced today a 2-year agreement with NFL International to broadcast one NFL game per window in English across parts of Europe on FOX Sports channels, FOX Sports branded blocks, and FOX Sports services beginning with the 2013 season.

NFL fans in Europe will be able to watch on FIC Sunday games, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football and all three U.S. Thanksgiving Day Games in English. FIC will also broadcast all NFL postseason games in English, including the Super Bowl.

The new deal also provides FIC access to NFL programming, such as NFL Game Day, NFL Extra, Road to Playoffs and Road to Super Bowl, as well as select programs from the NFL Network. Subscribers to FIC will also be able to watch NFL content on a variety of FIC's services.

Jesus Perezagua, President of FIC Europe and Africa commented: "21st Century Fox has a longstanding relationship with the NFL in the US, and it has been a fundamental part of the FOX Network and FOX Sports brand there. You can use NFL Game Pass without a VPN by using a valid cookie

You can use NFL Game Pass without a VPN by using a valid cookie. This method requires only one person to get access to the Game Pass via whatever method they can find and post the cookie session ID (I do not know if this affects users with login information/purchased Game Pass). Everyone else just has to edit their cookie by copy/pasting that code. If you are using a VPN, consider sharing the cookie code with others, this means less people will need to use VPN services you are using and less likely that it will get blocked by the NFL.

Alright guys, I got a new method. I have no way to test this out to make sure it works as I think it will, but its better than nothing. For now, it only works with Google Chrome because I want to watch the games and this is taking a lot of time away from me being able to watch the game. I'm not going to make screenshots for the same reason, after the games are over I'll probably make a more easy to use guide but for now this is what you get.

Now, this only works if people are willing to keep supplying cookies. Luckily I've managed to get one to start it off. Hopefully we will have a lot less trouble with this method than the last. (No disrespect, it's what gave me the idea to do this)
